The idea I had for this piece was to make a self portrait that looks different from the ones normally done. Then I found a photo from when I got jaw surgery over the summer and I felt this would make a good drawing. I feel that the piece does have a good resemblance to myself however I feel I could have done a better job getting the colors to be correct. I could improve this in the future by adding in more detail as well as trying to give it some more form. Overall I was pretty happy with how this piece came out.
